Individual Therapy

Life can at times feel overwhelming, confusing, or stuck. You may be coping outwardly, but inside, things might feel heavy or uncertain. Perhaps you’re navigating a difficult life event, struggling with anxiety or low mood, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others. Therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect, and find a way forward.

Each person who comes to therapy brings a unique set of experiences, questions, and ways of seeing the world. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you’re dealing with a specific issue or seeking a broader exploration of your life, therapy can help you reconnect with your inner resources and move toward greater clarity and meaning.

My approach is collaborative, warm, and engaged. While you are at the centre of the process, I’m not a passive listener — I work alongside you, offering support, gentle challenge, and reflections that can help shift stuck patterns and open new perspectives. Together, we may explore your thoughts, emotions, body awareness, and relational dynamics. We might also reflect on past experiences and how they shape your present, or work with dreams and images if they feel relevant to you.

Sometimes our work involves structured exercises or reflections between sessions; other times, it’s simply about making space for silence or sitting with what comes up All of this is in service of greater self-understanding, growth, and the possibility of change.

Therapy can be challenging — it requires time, commitment, and emotional investment. But it can also be profoundly rewarding. Many people find it leads not just to symptom relief, but to a fuller, more authentic, and connected life.

I offer short-term (up to 12 sessions) and open-ended therapy. My integrative approach draws from different therapeutic models, adapting to each client’s unique needs. I can support you with various challenges, such as:

  • Stress, anxiety, and overwhelm • Depression and low mood • Loneliness and isolation • Anger issues • Loss and bereavement • Relationship difficulties (personal, work, community or with yourself) • Challenges adjusting to a new country or returning home • Exploration of cultural heritage • Childhood or adult abuse and trauma • Family challenges • Separation and divorce • Social anxiety and feelings of inadequacy • Work stress and burnout • Low confidence or self-esteem • Life transitions, such as becoming a parent • Existential concerns and personal development

If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be glad to walk alongside you.
